Oh, it is. RocketVault is an automated online backup system that continuously archives data. There are no tapes to juggle and the notion of "last week's backup" is a thing of the past. Tapes have a surprisingly high failure rate. While the "Backup Complete!" message is nice, recovery is far from 100% guaranteed. Online storage in a protected data center is the way to go. How do I protect the fruits of my genius?

We configure a RocketVault application on each protected server. RocketVault encrypts and compresses the data and transfers a copy to a RocketNet data center. Every time a protected file changes, RocketVault automatically encrypts, compresses and sends the revision. RocketVault can even maintain copies of erased files.

My email server is a defenseless kitten. What can I do?
